X (formerly Twitter) has no download button for videos or GIFs. Paste the link to a post and choose from every quality X offers, from data-saving 360p up to full HD.
How to download from X

Open X and find the post you want to save.

Tap Share (the arrow under the post), then Copy link.

Paste the link in the box above. We find the media automatically.

Choose a quality and tap Download. The file saves to your device.
What you can save
- Videos in every available quality, up to 1080p
- GIFs (saved as MP4, or turned into a real GIF with our editor)
- Images in original size
- Media inside quoted posts
Good to know
- Posts from protected accounts can't be downloaded.
- Age-restricted media needs a login, so it isn't supported.
- Spaces and live broadcasts aren't supported.
