TikTok lets you save some videos, but adds a moving watermark and blocks saving on many posts. Paste the link here instead to get the video as it plays in the app, plus every image of a photo slideshow and the sound as a separate file.
How to download from TikTok
-
Open TikTok and find the post you want to save.
-
Tap Share (the arrow on the right), then Copy link.
-
Paste the link in the box above. We find the media automatically.
-
Choose a quality and tap Download. The file saves to your device.
What you can save
- Videos, without the watermark TikTok adds when you save in the app
- Photo slideshows: every image, one by one or as a ZIP
- The sound (music or voice) as an audio file
- Links from the app (vm.tiktok.com) and from the website
Good to know
- Private accounts and friends-only videos can't be downloaded.
- LIVE streams aren't supported.
- Quality depends on what the creator uploaded; most videos are 720p or higher.
