How to download videos on iPhone
No app needed. Safari can download videos straight to the Files app, and from there to Photos.
1. Copy the link in the app
Open the post in TikTok, Instagram, X or any supported app. Tap Share and choose Copy link.
2. Paste and download in Safari
Open this site in Safari, tap the box at the top and tap Paste. Choose a quality and tap Download. Safari asks whether to download the file; tap Download.
3. Move it to Photos
Tap the download arrow in Safari's address bar, then the file. Tap Share and choose Save Video (or Save Image). It now appears in your Photos app.
- Open Safari's Downloads (arrow icon).
- Tap the video to open it.
- Tap Share, then Save Video.
Tip: add it to your Home Screen
In Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. You get an app-like icon that opens straight to the downloader.
